Community

Members of Adrian Morning Rotary are active in the community by providing both volunteers and financial assistance to various local nonprofits.

The mission of the Rotary Club of Adrian Morning is to help our youth, community, and world build a better tomorrow.

Our members are especially interested in projects that focus on youth, literacy and local community development.

We build and stock more than 20 Little Free Libraries at locations around Adrian to promote literacy. See the locations.

Weekend Snack Sacks: The club manages this program which sends food home to more than 300 elementary and middle school students in 6 school buildings at Adrian & Madison School Districts. Help us with a donation

Our members prepare and serve meals once a month for 60 guests at Share the Warmth of Lenawee.

Adrian Morning Rotary has provided grant funding and volunteers to help the Lenawee County Child Advocacy Center in Adrian. The organization provides a child focused environment and services to meet the needs of children who have been sexually abused, severely physically abused, or witnesses to violent crime. The organization provides a single interview process for the child, crisis and ongoing trauma informed counseling, medical exam referrals when necessary, and victim advocacy throughout the criminal justice process.

Buddy Benches installed at each elementary school playground in the Adrian Public Schools district and Madison Elementary. The benches provide a special place to go for a student needing a friend.

We work to eliminate blight around the community, including supporting Rock the Block and other Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County programs.
